Nigel Pugh, Training and Development Director

USA Eastern Territory Headquarters

Nigel lived for many years in the founder’s place of birth, growing up in a large corps just West of London. With a diverse background in people development, he has led this work in the Army’s Eastern Territory since 2012, establishing himself as a very popular workshop provider at national and territorial level conferences. His work serves staff and officers across the ARC, the Corps and Kroc Centers, Social Services, the College for Officer Training, and the Army’s National Headquarters. He holds a Masters in Organizational Psychology and shares many online training resources via the Red Shield Toolkit (link coming soon, please email Nigel in the meantime).

His trainings are in three broad tracks, that each asks a key question:

  • How will those we wish to serve speak of their experiences with us? (Guest Experience training)
  • How will my one-on-one influence impact those we work with? (Impact training)
  • How will those who work for us, speak of their time with us as their boss? (Supervisor training)
